Come Home to Yourself
A One-Day Immersive Experience with Movement, Ketamine, and Healing
Saturday, February 20, 2027
New York City
Come Home to Yourself is a one-day immersive healing experience that offers a chance to pause, reconnect with yourself, and engage pathways of healing that words alone cannot always reach.
Weaving together somatic awareness, movement, stillness, a carefully supported ketamine experience, and opportunities for reflection and integration, the day is designed to help you cultivate a deeper connection with yourself and your innate capacity for healing.
We know that real healing requires more than insight. While understanding ourselves is important, some experiences are held beyond conscious awareness, in the body, the nervous system, and the patterns we carry through our lives. By engaging the whole person, Come Home to Yourself creates the conditions for new possibilities to emerge for greater freedom, vitality, authenticity, and connection.
Come home to your body.
Come home within.
Come home to yourself.
Held in the quiet of winter, this experience offers a natural invitation to slow down and turn inward. While the world often asks us to keep moving, winter reminds us of the value of stillness, reflection, and renewal. It is a season that supports deep listening and a more intimate connection with ourselves. This is a day to tune into all of you, including your mind, your body, and your spirit, and to create space for what may be ready to emerge.
Whether you are seeking relief from longstanding patterns, navigating a life transition, or simply longing to feel more alive, more free, and more fully yourself, Come Home to Yourself offers a thoughtfully held space to explore, restore, and reconnect with all of yourself.
Movement
Movement tells the truth. Our bodies hold the imprint of our experiences, often in ways that exist beyond words. Through guided movement and mindful attention, we can begin to notice patterns of tension, protection, emotion, and resilience that have shaped us over time. Movement offers a direct pathway to the nervous system, helping us deepen awareness, release what no longer serves us, and reconnect with our innate capacity for healing. No dance experience is necessary—only a willingness to be present with yourself.
Ketamine
Ketamine is an FDA-approved dissociative anesthetic that has been used safely in medicine for more than fifty years. At therapeutic doses, it works on the brain's glutamate system, increasing neuroplasticity and creating an opportunity to loosen rigid patterns of thought and emotion. Within a carefully supported setting, ketamine can help people access new perspectives, process difficult experiences, and deepen psychological healing.
Together
Movement reveals the truth.
Ketamine creates space.
Together, they create an experience that is often deeper than either alone. Movement helps you stay connected to your body while ketamine invites a different perspective on familiar emotions and patterns. Held within a carefully guided process, this combination can support profound self-discovery, emotional release, and a felt sense of coming home to yourself.

Dr. Katherine Ellin is a licensed clinical psychologist with more than three decades of experience helping people heal from trauma, navigate life transitions, deepen relationships, and reconnect with themselves. Grounded in psychodynamic and attachment-based psychotherapy, her work is integrative and experiential, bringing together an understanding of how our histories and relationships shape us with approaches that engage the body, nervous system, and emotional life.
Katherine received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the City College of the City University of New York (CUNY), and holds master's degrees in Social Work and Dance/Movement Therapy from Hunter College of CUNY. Her postgraduate training includes fellowships at Massachusetts Mental Health Center/Harvard Medical School, Boston Children's Hospital/Harvard Medical School, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Mental Health Service.
Over the course of her career, Katherine has worked in private practice, community mental health, hospitals, and clinical leadership. She has directed multidisciplinary treatment programs, trained and supervised psychotherapists, and for many years has maintained a private practice in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she works with individuals and couples.
Her clinical work draws on advanced training in EMDR, Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, sex therapy, couples therapy, and somatic and experiential approaches to healing. With roots in dance/movement therapy and a lifelong engagement with movement and embodied practice, Katherine is especially interested in what becomes possible when psychotherapy moves beyond words alone. Her work explores how attention to the body, nervous system, movement, relationship, and expanded states of consciousness can open pathways to healing that may be difficult to reach through conversation alone.
This workshop brings together many of the threads that have shaped Katherine's life and work: psychotherapy, movement, trauma healing, embodied awareness, and the creation of spaces where people can slow down, listen inwardly, and reconnect with their own capacity for wholeness, resilience, and aliveness.

Allison Talis is a somatic practitioner, movement facilitator, theater director, and creator of Soul Dance and Emotion in Motion. For more than twenty-five years, she has explored the intersection of movement, creativity, trauma healing, and contemplative practice, helping people reconnect with themselves through embodied experience.
Allison's path into this work grew out of her own lifelong journey with anxiety, neurodivergence, and healing. Through decades of study and practice, she has woven together movement, dance, yoga, breathwork, meditation, creative expression, and trauma-informed somatic approaches into a deeply integrative style of facilitation that invites people to move with greater freedom, presence, and self-compassion.
Her work has included serving as National Healing & Wellness Practitioner for the Joyful Heart Foundation, where she co-developed and led healing programs, workshops, and retreats for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, as well as first responders working on the front lines of trauma. She has also worked extensively as a theater director, educator, and teaching artist in New York City and internationally, using the performing arts as a vehicle for personal and collective transformation.
Allison is the founder of the nonprofit Creative Seeds and has taught movement, yoga, and embodiment practices in therapeutic, educational, and community settings throughout the United States and abroad. Her training includes certification as an Integrative Somatic Trauma Practitioner, Historical Trauma Specialist, Trauma Resiliency Model practitioner, and specialized training in yoga for trauma, Internal Family Systems, and collective healing approaches. She also holds a master's degree in theatre focused on historical trauma and collective healing.
At the heart of Allison's work is a belief that the body holds profound wisdom and an innate capacity for healing. She creates experiences that invite people to reconnect with themselves, with one another, and with the vitality that emerges when we feel safe enough to move, express, and be fully alive.
